Serving Cy-Fair & Northwest Houston
Cypress is part of the Cy-Fair area in northwest Harris County, home to Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, one of the largest school districts in the country. Most of these neighborhoods were built on former ranch and farmland over the last 20 to 30 years, and they keep growing. Bridgeland, Towne Lake, Fairfield, Coles Crossing, and the master-planned communities along US-290 and Grand Parkway all share a similar story: young families, long commutes, and a community still figuring out its own identity.
All of that creates pressure that quietly funnels into substance use patterns. The two-hour round-trip commute that ends with a few drinks. The financial weight of a new mortgage. The 12-hour shift in the energy corridor or oilfield support industries. The high schooler in a 700-student CFISD class. Substance use here looks like normal Cy-Fair life until it does not.
Our office on Huffmeister Road, just off US-290 between Jersey Village and Copperfield, is built for that. Confidential intake, day and evening IOP, and a clinical team that does not ask you to drive across Houston for the help you need.
Your Outpatient Manager
Beth holds a degree in Mental Health Services and Counseling Psychology from San Jacinto College and is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas. She has been working in counseling since 2016 and active in the recovery community since 2009.
Beth is in long-term recovery herself. She brings that lived experience and clinical training together when she works with clients and families, and she is a dynamic speaker on family healing and the long road of sobriety. Her team in Cypress reflects that mix: clinically rigorous, personally credible, and genuinely committed to clients who are still figuring out how recovery looks for them.

Who We Serve
Cy-Fair is a family-oriented area. We help parents in recovery build stable, healthy homes.
Long drives into Houston create stress. Our local office means you do not have to add another long commute for treatment.
The financial pressures of new homeownership and family formation can trigger or worsen substance use.
Nearby communities have convenient access to our Huffmeister Road office.
Our Programs in Cypress
Recovery is not one program, it is a sequence. Our care moves from Foundational Care through a Bridge of Care to Transformational Care, with the right level of structure at each step. Step into the program that meets you where you are.
Build the foundation to create lasting transformation.Sobriety is the start. Flourishing is the goal.
PHP is the most intensive form of outpatient treatment at our Cypress office. Clients attend 5 days per week for several hours per day in a structured environment. PHP includes individual counseling, group therapy led by master's-level clinicians, psychiatric care and medication management, skill-building workshops, and the Positive Recovery curriculum developed by Dr. Jason Powers.
Our IOP in Cypress is designed for clients ready to return to work, school, or family while continuing intensive treatment. We offer both day and evening sessions. IOP meets 3-5 times per week and includes group therapy, weekly one-on-one counseling, family therapy, psychiatric check-ins, and the Positive Recovery curriculum that focuses on building strengths.
SOP follows PHP or IOP with weekly group sessions and one-on-one counseling. It keeps Cy-Fair clients connected to their treatment team during the months when early recovery meets ordinary routine again.
Aftercare means the Cypress team stays in your corner after discharge: regular check-ins, counseling on demand, alumni events, and peers who know exactly what the first sober year in the suburbs feels like.
Teletherapy delivers IOP over secure video with the same clinical content as in-person sessions. It keeps treatment intact through 290 traffic, night shifts, and the weeks when life refuses to cooperate.
With your consent, spouses, parents, and siblings join treatment through workshops and family counseling. In Cy-Fair's family-heavy neighborhoods, getting the household aligned is often the difference-maker in early recovery.
What We Treat
In Cy-Fair we mostly see what long commutes and demanding shift work produce: drinking that became the default way to land the day, painkillers left over from oilfield and jobsite injuries, and stimulant use that started as a way to stay awake. Fentanyl-laced pills have shown up across northwest Harris County as well.
For substances that need medically supervised withdrawal, detox happens at our Garden Oaks campus before you return to outpatient sessions on Huffmeister Road. More on each substance:

Common Questions
No. Your treatment here is covered by 42 CFR Part 2, which restricts disclosure more tightly than HIPAA does, and contacting employers is something we simply do not do. Many of our Cypress clients are working in the energy corridor, oilfield services, healthcare, and education, and they attend evening IOP three to five nights per week.
