Our Texas Network
Positive Recovery Centers operates 20+ drug and alcohol treatment locations across Texas, organized around three metros: Greater Houston, Austin and the Hill Country, and Dallas-Fort Worth. Three of those locations are residential campuses. The Garden Oaks campus in Houston and the Hill Country campus in Spicewood provide medical detox and residential treatment, and the DFW campus in Euless goes a step further, housing detox, residential, and outpatient programs under one roof. The rest are outpatient offices offering partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), supportive outpatient, aftercare, and teletherapy. Additionally, sober living campuses are available in Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth.
The reason the network is built this way is practical. Recovery is a sequence, not a single stay. Someone might begin with medical detox at a campus, move into residential treatment for several weeks, then step down to PHP and IOP at the outpatient office closest to home or work. Because every location belongs to the same organization and runs the same Positive Recovery curriculum, developed by Dr. Jason Powers, that whole path happens without switching providers, re-explaining your history, or starting over with a new clinical philosophy. Records, treatment plans, and in many cases the people who know your case move with you.
Every location is part of the first Joint Commission-accredited rehab program in the country to build its clinical model on positive psychology: treatment aimed not just at stopping substance use but at building a life worth staying sober for. Most major insurance plans are accepted at every office, and our admissions team verifies benefits at no cost. If you are not sure which location fits your situation, call 713-904-4699 and we will figure it out with you, usually in one conversation. You can also browse all of our treatment services first.
Greater Houston
Houston is where Positive Recovery started, and it remains our largest region: the Garden Oaks residential and detox campus plus ten outpatient offices spread across Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery counties. Wherever you live in the metro, from the inner Loop to Conroe to Pearland, there is an office within a reasonable drive, and each one connects directly to Garden Oaks for step-up or step-down care. See the full region overview at our Houston drug rehab locations hub.
Austin & the Hill Country
Our Central Texas region pairs a retreat-style residential campus in Spicewood, with a pool, outdoor space, and Hill Country views, with outpatient offices along the I-35 corridor in Austin, Round Rock, and San Marcos, plus College Station out in the Brazos Valley. Clients detox and stabilize at the Spicewood campus, then continue treatment near home, work, or campus. Details for the whole region live on the Austin and Hill Country locations hub.
Dallas-Fort Worth
In North Texas, the Euless campus anchors everything. It sits in the Mid-Cities between Dallas and Fort Worth, minutes from DFW Airport, and it is our only campus where detox, residential, outpatient, and sober living all share one address. Outpatient offices in Coppell and Southlake extend the network to North Dallas and Northeast Tarrant County. The region overview is on the Dallas-Fort Worth locations hub.
What Happens at Each Location
Not every location offers every program, and that is by design. Medical detox and residential treatment need 24/7 medical and clinical staffing, so they live at the three campuses. PHP, IOP, supportive outpatient, aftercare, and teletherapy run at the outpatient offices, with day and evening hours at most of them so treatment can coexist with a job or a class schedule. Sober living is available in Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth. Every level uses the same evidence-based methods and the same positive psychology curriculum, so moving between them changes your schedule, not your treatment.
Call and describe your situation. Our admissions team will match you to the right level of care and the closest location, usually in one conversation.
