Outpatient Services Offered in The Woodlands
Outpatient treatment for addiction in The Woodlands is offered to clients who are struggling with addiction to alcohol and/or drugs but do not require the 24-7 rigor of residential care. Outpatient treatment is less costly than inpatient treatment and can be more flexible in terms of scheduling for those who must integrate work and family responsibilities into their treatment. Our Outpatient Program in The Woodlands includes a combination of individual therapy, group therapy, and medication management, where appropriate. Patients in outpatient treatment meet with their therapist or counselor on a weekly basis, and also attend weekly group meetings. While outpatient treatment can be an effective way for clients to get the help they need, it is important to remember that this type of care may not be the right solution for everyone. Some may need the structure and support of our Residential Treatment Program in order to achieve lasting recovery. Our outpatient services include the following:
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
After residential treatment, many clients transition into our Partial Hospitalization Program. PHP offers the highest level of structure and accountability available in an outpatient program. It bridges the gap between inpatient and outpatient treatment by providing flexible, intensive care and accountability to both you and your family members. Learn more…
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our Intensive Outpatient Program is ideal for clients who are ready to return to school, work, or a home environment but still need ongoing support to maintain their sobriety. IOP offers flexible and robust programming that addresses critical challenges in early recovery, such as relapse management, relationship-building with family and friends, and adjusting to the increase of responsibilities that life brings. Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP)
Our Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP) is designed to provide individual counseling as well as an opportunity to navigate early recovery, often after completing an outpatient program such as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) or an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Our SOP focuses on clients continuing on their path of recovery, and provides a safe, supportive structure to reinforce positive behaviors, strengthen relationships, and promote healing and growth.
Aftercare offers essential support at a critical time in recovery, with regular structured group meetings and opportunities for sober social engagement. In Aftercare, you’ll receive valuable feedback and encouragement from peers with group meetings that are hosted and led by a licensed counselor. This not only encourages sustained sobriety, but it also helps you practice effective communication skills, reduces your risk of relapse, and encourages healthy lifestyle choices and decisions.
