Addiction Treatment Built for the Way You Live and Work

Asking for help is hard. Asking for help when your career, your image, and your kids' school district all sit inside the same 30-square-mile master-planned community is harder. We get it.

The Woodlands has grown from zero residents in 1974 to over 115,000, consistently ranked among the best places to live in Texas. The high median income, the Fortune 500 corporate campuses (ExxonMobil, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Chevron Phillips), and the competitive school district create a culture of achievement where substance use often goes unspoken because of the pressure to keep up appearances.

Our office on Nursery Road, just off I-45 between The Woodlands and Shenandoah, is built for that reality. Day and evening IOP. Confidential intake. A team that understands the corporate calendar and the family obligations that come with it. You don't have to leave The Woodlands to get real help.

Your Outpatient Manager

Meet Justin Steen, LCDC

Justin is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas with more than 15 years of experience in addiction treatment. He has worked across the full continuum of care, from medical detox through long-term aftercare, gaining the kind of perspective that only comes from walking the road with hundreds of clients.

He was instrumental in creating an aftercare case management program in the Houston area built to support clients through the first full year of sobriety, with the explicit purpose of building the foundation that makes long-term recovery stick.

Outside of work, Justin serves on the board of the historic Westcott Cemetery in the Greater Northside District and volunteers as a soccer coach for his community's youth league. The same commitment to people and place he brings to The Woodlands office.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in The Woodlands

PHP is the most intensive form of outpatient treatment at our The Woodlands office. Clients attend 5 days per week for several hours per day in a structured environment. It is the right step for clients stepping down from residential treatment, or for high-functioning professionals who need a real clinical scaffold without leaving home. PHP includes individual counseling, group therapy led by master's-level clinicians, psychiatric care and medication management, skill-building workshops, and the Positive Recovery curriculum developed by Dr. Jason Powers.

For Woodlands clients balancing PHP with FMLA leave, short-term disability, or a planned career pause, our admissions team can help coordinate documentation with your HR contact while keeping your treatment confidential.

Parents of Conroe ISD students can pick up at carpool and still make group at 6:00.

IOP meets 3-5 times per week and includes group therapy led by licensed clinicians, weekly one-on-one counseling, family therapy, psychiatric check-ins, and the evidence-based Positive Recovery curriculum that focuses on building strengths rather than just addressing deficits.

The Woodlands Treatment FAQs

No. Confidentiality for substance use treatment is governed by 42 CFR Part 2, which is stricter than HIPAA, and no one here will contact your company. For clients at ExxonMobil and other Town Center employers, we regularly handle FMLA and disability paperwork in a way that discloses only the minimum you authorize.

Yes. Our IOP runs both day and evening programs, Monday through Thursday until 9pm. Many of our Woodlands clients work full-time at ExxonMobil, HPE, Chevron Phillips, and other Town Center employers and attend evening IOP three to five nights per week. Yes. We see a steady flow of young adults from the Conroe ISD area and college students home for breaks from UT, A&M, Sam Houston State, Lone Star, and out-of-state schools. Our team handles young adult intake with parents involved at the right level, with the client's consent, and we can coordinate teletherapy continuity when they return to campus.
