Leadership
Chief Marketing and Experience Officer
Jamie brings more than a decade of professional experience in recovery services and supporting individuals with substance use disorder diagnoses. His career started in Houston, working directly with men and women in early recovery, and his operational lens still leads with what actually helps people get well.
Jamie started his career in Houston, working with men and women in the earliest phase of recovery. That early hands-on work shaped the way he leads operations today. He carries the perspective of someone who has sat across the table from the client, not just the spreadsheet.
His own foundation in recovery began in twelve-step work, and he continues to volunteer at treatment facilities outside of his role at Positive Recovery. The personal experience and the professional experience reinforce each other.
What motivates Jamie is helping clients move toward health and wellness while finding meaning and purpose in their recovery. That last part matters to him as much as the clinical work. Sobriety without purpose is unstable. The job, in his view, is to help someone build a life worth staying sober for.
Operationally, his focus is on using business discipline to support organizational growth without losing the patient-centered culture that makes Positive Recovery work. He looks at every operational decision through the lens of how it lands for the client in the group room.
Jamie is a founding member of Houston Area Treatment Partners, a coalition of providers working together to raise the standard of care across the Houston market. He also leads yoga instruction at treatment facilities, supporting the mind-body-heart connection that anchors so much of long-term recovery work.
As Chief Marketing and Experience Officer, Jamie oversees daily operations across the full Texas network, from medical detox through aftercare. His team makes sure the clinical model designed by the founders actually shows up the same way at every PRC location, from Houston to Dallas-Fort Worth to the Hill Country.
Jamie has two children and continues to give time to treatment facilities as a volunteer. The throughline across his work, his recovery, and his family is the same: showing up consistently for the people in front of him.
