Our Programs
Addiction affects everyone differently, which is why we offer a full continuum of care. At Positive Recovery Centers in College Station, these programs are part of the Foundation to Transformation journey, a complete path that supports clients from their first steps to long-term success.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our Partial Hospitalization Program, or PHP, is part of the Foundational Levels of Care at Positive Recovery Centers in College Station. PHP is the most intensive form of outpatient treatment, designed to provide the structure and stability needed in early recovery. Clients often begin PHP after completing residential care, or they may enter directly if they need more support than a standard outpatient program provides.
In PHP, clients attend treatment five days a week for several hours each day. Services include individual counseling, group therapy, psychiatric care, and skill-building workshops. This consistent structure creates a strong base of accountability and helps stabilize recovery while clients live at home.
PHP is an important step in the Foundation to Transformation journey. It strengthens coping skills, introduces routines, and begins the work of Positive Psychology through Dr. Jason Powers’ curriculum. By focusing on safety, stability, and essential skills, PHP prepares clients to move confidently into the transformational stages of care such as IOP, SOP, and Aftercare.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our Intensive Outpatient Program, or IOP, is part of the Transformational Levels of Care at Positive Recovery Centers in College Station. IOP is designed for clients who are ready to step beyond foundational stability and take on more independence in daily life.
Clients attend treatment three to five times each week, with sessions offered during the day or evening to accommodate work, school, and family commitments. Programming includes group therapy led by experienced clinicians, weekly one-on-one counseling, and, when appropriate, family therapy and psychiatric check-ins.
This level of care focuses on relapse prevention, stress management, relationship repair, and adjusting to new responsibilities in sobriety. It provides both accountability and flexibility, allowing clients to apply recovery skills in real-world settings while continuing to receive consistent support.
Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP)

The Supportive Outpatient Program, or SOP, is another part of the Transformational Levels of Care at Positive Recovery Centers in College Station. SOP is designed for clients who have built stability in earlier stages of treatment and are ready for a lighter schedule while still staying connected to structured support.
SOP typically involves weekly group sessions, continued individual counseling as needed, and ongoing accountability. This stage allows clients to strengthen the recovery routines they have already developed while balancing more independence in work, school, and family life.
SOP is about reinforcement and growth. It helps clients stay engaged in their recovery community, continue practicing relapse prevention strategies, and maintain steady progress as they move toward long-term goals.
Aftercare and Alumni Services

Recovery does not end when treatment does. At Positive Recovery Centers in College Station, our Aftercare and Alumni programs are the lasting expression of the Transformational Levels of Care. These services are designed to provide continued connection, accountability, and purpose long after formal programming has ended.
Aftercare typically includes regular check-ins, ongoing counseling as needed, and access to resources that help clients stay on track with their recovery goals. Alumni gatherings, volunteer opportunities, and peer support events create a strong and welcoming community where clients encourage one another and celebrate progress.
This stage of care is about more than maintaining sobriety. It is about building a life that flourishes. Alumni often return to share their experiences with new clients, proving that long-term recovery is possible and meaningful.
Outpatient Teletherapy Services
At Positive Recovery Centers in College Station, we know that access and flexibility are essential for lasting recovery. For clients who cannot attend in person due to health concerns, distance, or scheduling challenges, we offer a Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) through secure telehealth sessions.
Our telehealth tracks mirror the same schedule and curriculum as in-person groups, including counseling, group therapy, and psychiatric consultations when appropriate. This ensures clients receive the same level of accountability, structure, and support from the comfort of home.
By offering virtual treatment, we make sure that every client can stay connected and continue progressing on their journey from foundation to transformation without interruption.
Family Involvement
Addiction impacts more than the individual. It touches spouses, parents, children, and close friends. At Positive Recovery Centers in College Station, we believe family participation is essential for true healing and long-term success.
As part of our programs, we offer Family Workshops and counseling sessions where loved ones can learn about addiction, strengthen communication, and develop healthier ways to support recovery. These sessions help families set boundaries, rebuild trust, and understand their vital role in the process.
We often remind clients and families that addiction is a family disease, meaning everyone has some healing to do. By creating a safe space for open discussion and growth, our counselors guide families from pain toward understanding and hope.
Family involvement strengthens the Foundation to Transformation journey, ensuring that recovery is supported not just in treatment but also at home. When families heal together, clients gain the strongest possible network for sustained sobriety.
