Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP)
Our Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP) is designed to provide individual counseling as well as an opportunity to navigate early recovery, often after completing an outpatient program such as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) or an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Our SOP focuses on clients continuing on their path of recovery, and provides a safe, supportive structure to reinforce positive behaviors, strengthen relationships, and promote healing and growth.
Aftercare Services
Aftercare offers essential support at a critical time in recovery, with regular structured group meetings and opportunities for sober social engagement. In Aftercare, you’ll receive valuable feedback and encouragement from peers with group meetings that are hosted and led by a licensed counselor. This not only encourages sustained sobriety, but it also helps you practice effective communication skills, reduces your risk of relapse, and encourages healthy lifestyle choices and decisions. Linda Kagey. LCDC, ADC
Outpatient Manager and Primary Counselor
Linda Kagey, LCDC, ADC is a licensed chemical dependency counselor with more than 25 years of experience providing addiction and codependency treatment to adults, adolescents and families. She has extensive counseling experience with both the criminal and family law systems and provides court evaluations, as well as expert testimony on substance abuse and its impact on families. Linda is a Love First Interventionist and a certified trainer for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). She currently is the co-chair on the Texas Collaborative on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Steering Committee. Linda is affiliated with the Houston Area Partnership on FASD, Texas Association of Addiction Professionals, NAADAC Association for Addiction Professionals, national and local chapters of Employee Assistance Professional Association and serves on the board of the Coalition of Behavioral Health Services. She provides support, guidance, tools and a warm, nonjudgmental and compassionate space to help clients mitigate, manage and overcome substance abuse issues.
