With over 30 years of experience in the addiction treatment industry, George believes proper addiction treatment and rehabilitation should be available to everyone. George was CEO and owner of The Right Step for almost 20 years before selling the company in 2012. Afterward, he wanted to create a new facility to be able to help more people, thus Positive Recovery Centers was born in 2017. Using the latest programming developed by Dr. Jason Powers, M.D., our Chief Medical Officer, we are working to reduce relapse rates by focusing on each client’s character strengths and improving resilience. By employing new strategies to achieve optimal wellness, we address the negative impacts of addiction. George has received both state and national recognition as Counselor of Year in 2000 and was recently awarded the Most Admired CEO by the Houston Business Journal.
